Hello, My Name is Millie, and I am Pending Adoption

I was born under a junk pile in the middle of the woods when I was two weeks old. My estimated birth date is September 17, 2025. I have had a rough beginning at life. I am a female and will be spayed and brought up to date on all vaccinations when I am the appropriate age. I am assumed to be Pit/Husky mix, but my new caretakers have sent out a DNA test to see exactly which breeds I am. At 2 weeks old I weighed 2.33 pounds. I will most likely be a medium to large size dog.My litter's DNA and Genetic Health Testing Results are in. Voiceless Moments holds prize winning contests that allow people to guess our different breeds. The contest has not been held for our results yet. Follow us on Facebook, our contest is the week of October 27th. (www.facebook.com/voicelessmoments). Once our contest is over, we will announce it in the bio section of each of the pups.

My Story

My mother, Dina, was left to roam free throughout the neighborhood. Therefore, I was born under a giant junk pile in the middle of the woods, behind a stranger’s home. I suffered the elements for two weeks out in the wilderness, under the careful care of my mother, until my mother's presence was brought to the attention of my rescuers. My rescuers swooped into action and tracked my mother back to my location, where myself and my brothers and sisters were located. It is too early to tell what my personality is, but when everything is evident, my caretakers will update my bio. My intake exam is this week, October 9th, and we will have an update about my general health then. I am too young for vaccinations and preventions, but when I reach 6 weeks old, I will receive my first puppy vaccines and be put on the proper prevention. I will be ready to adopt when I am 8 weeks old, which is around November 12, 2025. I will have received my 6- and 8-week vaccinations and put on preventions. Stay tuned for more information as I develop. I will be allowed to be adopted prior to getting spayed, but a contract to spay and a deposit of $75.00 in addition to the adoption fee of $100 will be necessary. Voiceless Moments Dog Sanctuary will pay for the procedure and provide a voucher for payment of services at one of our participating veterinary clinics. Proof must be shown of the additional puppy vaccinations and spay procedure before the deposit will be given back to the adopter.
